Hi, I'm Matt Haughton, a business solution developer
As well as providing bespoke software and database solutions for businesses I'm also developing a number of proprietary solutions. Some are business agnostic and some industry specific.
While I deem a friendly and informal working relationship essential to get the best for everyone involved, everything about my work is exceptionally professional. I take great pride in my work and retain a sense of enjoyment for developing computer systems.
My primary working platform is FileMaker, although I have a good foundation in Java, Ruby on Rails and web technologies (I know about AJAX, Web 2.0 and other buzzwords!)
Of course, with a great deal of technical knowledge and experience I can do a lot more than just develop solutions. So if you need some mentoring, training, systems maintenance or whatever, get in touch.
And to alleviate any concerns you may have, I'm not pushy or dishonest and don't work with people that are. I also know a number of developers that are more suited than I am to certain types of projects, unless a job is a win-win for everyone involved I will recommend a more suitable developer.

Current Work A quick note about some of my work so far
See the newly released version of my first product CFExplorer. A simple, elegant, free database for other FileMaker developers to store and ‘debug’ their custom functions. Oh and it's also free...! (You'll need a copy of FileMaker Pro or Pro Advanced to use this)
